Operations Assistant(s)
We are looking for a mature individual or couple to assist with the operation of Killdeer Beach resort during the 2022 camping season. Ideal applicant(s) can work with others or alone, are confident and assertive, but have a non-confrontational style of service approach in all interactions. A love for children is required!
We will consider college or university students, adults, a couple who would like to camp in the park for the summer - no matter your situation, we will work together to consider your schedule, skills, and needs and to reach our goal of being able to take some time off while not impacting the smooth operation of the resort.
Employment Period
The park is open from May 1 to September 30. Employment can include the full duration of this period or can be somewhat shorter as the beginning and end of summer are not nearly as intense.
Duties
We are flexible depending on the experience and skills of the applicant. Our main goal as owners is to be able to take a couple days off each week. While the park is busiest on weekends, working every weekend is not required - how many weekends is open for discussion based on the needs of those involved.
Monday through Thursday:

Remuneration
This is not a minimum wage position but remuneration, duties, and working hours will be discussed and decided on depending on the needs of the applicant(s). We will work within the wants and needs of your situation, but remuneration would include regular pay along with the potential of a bonus if staying on for the entire summer. On site summer living or offsite and driving to work in the park are both possibilities.

- these days are typically used for park maintenance as the park is at its quietest
- grounds maintenance and upkeep typically includes mowing and weed eating, and assisting and directing the pumping of sewers
- potential for some carpentry work
Friday and Saturday, Sunday morning:
- assisting with guest registration and restaurant operation (no cooking required), which includes the taking of payments and food orders
- boat launching and removal
- assisting with the general needs and requests of residents
Weekly:
- monitoring activity and watching out for the general community
- being aware of all activity in the park (especially on weekends)
- making sure gate is closed by 11pm and all is quiet (people will be up but there should be no music or loud noise after 11)

Weekend Kitchen Help
We are also looking for weekend help for our cook at the restaurant. This position starts on May Long weekend and goes until September long weekend. This position does not necessarily require every weekend, but scheduling ahead of time will be required.

Friday evening - 5 to 9 pm
Saturday - 10 am to 8 pm
Sunday morning - 10am to 1pm
